Red Chilli Paste

Ingredients :

15 Dried Red Chilli (kashmiri red chilli preffered)

1tsp Rice Vinegar(optional)

1/2 cup water

Preparation method:

1) In a sauce pot, take a half cup of water, add vinegar(optional), dried red chillies and boil them on a medium flame for 15 minutes. 

2) let them cool for sometime

3) Add the red chillies to the blender, omit the water

4) Blend them into a smooth paste, you don’t need water to make paste.

Note: 1)You can de-seed the chillies, if you don’t want to see the seeds in paste. I did not remove the seeds  for extra hotness from it.

2) This paste can be used in many curry recipes like butter Chicken, Gobi 65, chicken 65.This gives extra taste and color to the food and you can avoid using food color.
