Aloo -matar fry

Ingredients :

Boiled potatoes -4

Green peas blanched- 1/2 cup

Oil-2 tbsp

Onions – 1 medium  thinly sliced

Cumin seeds -1 tsp

Mustard seeds -1/2 tsp

Urad dal – 1/2 tsp

Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp

Ginger-garlic paste – 2 tsp

Coriander powder – 2 tsp

Garam masala – 1tsp

Green Chillies- 6 no.s

Chaat masala – 1 tsp

Method of preparation :

1) cut the potatoes into small cubes.

2) Take a wide pan, add oil once the oil is hot add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, Urad dal  once they splitter,

To the pan, add onions and chillies to the pan,

Once the onions are transparent, add Ginger -Garlic Paste

Add turmeric powder 

Cook until the raw smell of ginger -Garlic paste  is gone

Add peas and fry them.

Add Boiled potatoes to the pan

Add coriander powder, garam masala , salt to the pan.

Cook them for a while, and top it with Chaat masala.

Turn off the flame, and serve it in a bowl.

Note :

Chaat masala is optional.

Serve it hot with rice.

Can use this as masala inside dosa.
