Instant Rava Dosa (semolina crepe)

Ingredients :

Semolina -1/2 cup 

Rice flour -1/2 cup

All purpose flour – 1/4 cup

Cumin seeds- 1 tbsp

Ground pepper powder – 1/2 tsp

Green chillies finely chopped – 1tbsp

Onions finely chopped -1/4 cup

Salt to taste 

Oil as required 

Water  to make runny batter 

Method :

Take a mixing bowl, add semolina, rice flour, All purpose flour, cumin seeds, green chillies, onions chopped.

Add required amount of water to make a runny batter.

Take a non-stick crepe pan, rub onion or potato to prevent batter sticking to pan.

 On a medium flame, Using a laddle pour the batter on the pan  as thin as possible.

Add oil on the corners which help to get a crispy dosa.

Cook the dosa until it becomes brown, and turn other side of crepe and cook for a minute on medium flame.


The formation of holes will be possible if you are using a thin batter.

If the batter is too thin, add rice flour to the batter.
