Strawberry Puree


Strawberries-15 no.

Sugar/Agave nectar-2-3 tbsp ( depends on tartness of strawberries)


Chop the strawberries into small pieces.

Add them into a sauce pot, add sugar / Agave nectar.

Place them on the stove top on low-medium  flame and close the lid.

Let the mixture come to boil and all the juices from strawberries ooze out, it takes around 30 minutes.

Turn off the flame, and let the mixture cool. 

In a blender,add the mixture and blend  until a smooth puree is formed.

Store it in a air-tight container and it’s good to use for a week.

Note:It can used as toppings for icecream, brownies and cakes.
