Raw-Banana chips ( Plantain chips) 


Raw Banana -2 

Turmeric -1/2 tsp

Salt to taste

Oil for  frying ( coconut oil or oil of your choice)

Method  of  preparation :

1) Slice the banana into thin roundels.

2) Heat the oil, once the oil is hot add sliced bananas, meanwhile in a bowl add turmeric, salt and water give it a mix.

3) Once the chips are almost done  add the turmeric mixture to the oil on low flame.Be careful and this is the important step to be followed.

4) After 1-2 minutes, sputtering  stops.

5) Take out the chips on to absorbent paper to let the extra oil to be removed.

Store them crispy Plantain chips in an airtight container and they food for  a week.

Note : You can add sugar to the salt solution.

 Coconut oil is preferable.
